On other servers this problem did occur again, but after applying the fix/workaround for the second time it didn't happen again. I had been tearing my hair out since resetting my router (factory defaults) to try and get back the password protection, and your entry solved my problem. I can talk to the router from my laptop to get into a hard drive that is connected to it but unable to connect to the internet at all. Hopefully Microsoft will have a true fix out there.
