Please Reply By Suggesting What To DO. Hard drives with moving platters have a MTBF (mean time between failure) of 3 to 5 years. Even an old copy of Norton Disk Editor doesn’t complain about that disk. NTLDR uses the boot.ini file to locate hard drives and partitions.

This process of elimination leads me to believe the problem is software related.
