I've been dealing with this problem for nearly a week and my concern (like anyone else) is saving my files. Installing a new program that is not compatible with the hardware or another program may cause a blue screen error. I can get the blue screen to stay by hitting F8 repeatedly as the computer boots up, then selecting "Disable automatic restart on system failure" from the menu. i am hoping for a better answer than this so that i keep my current programs and settings intact.
